Tunnel or Hai Van Pass?
Take the tunnel if you land late, are tired after a long flight, or have small children: it is the fastest road and has no bends. Take the pass if you land in the morning and want to see the coast: the driver stops at the summit and at Lang Co Bay. The price is the same either way, and you can decide with the driver on the day.

Da Nang Airport to Hue: other options
- Train: from Da Nang station, not the airport, so you need a taxi to the station first. The ride is scenic but takes about 2.5–3 hours plus waiting. See Da Nang to Hue by train.
- Bus or shuttle: cheaper, but most leave from the city, not the airport, with fixed times and stops.
- Grab: possible, but long-distance prices vary and the driver may not want the return trip empty.
With luggage after a flight, a car from the arrivals hall to your Hue hotel door is the simplest option.
Night arrivals
