What a family resort in Da Nang actually costs

Family resorts in Da Nang start at about 1,420,000₫ a night — roughly US$54 — and run past 11,000,000₫ at the top. The jump in price does not buy you a better beach; every resort below sits on the same stretch of sand. It buys supervised childcare.

If your family is travelling to Vietnam from abroad, you can ask about Vietnam eVisa assistance while planning your resort stay.

That is the split that matters. This guide names eleven resorts, gives the address, the Google rating and the nightly rate for each, and answers the one question the price tag does not: does it have a kids’ club, and did the resort itself say so? Every kids’-club claim below was read off the resort’s own website or Google’s own amenity record, on 28 August 2026. Where a resort does not say it has one, this guide says so rather than guessing.

Risemount Premier Resort Da Nang — the cheapest, and the honest caveat

120 Nguyen Van Thoai, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang · 4.5★ (≈2,900 Google reviews) · from 1,419,968₫ a night · Open in Google Maps

A third of the price of anything else on this list, with an outdoor pool, spa, sauna, free buffet breakfast and beach access. What it does not have is a kids’ club: Google’s amenity record lists it as child-friendly and nothing more, and the resort’s own site names no children’s programme. Take it if your children are old enough to entertain themselves and you would rather spend the difference on food and day trips.

The Ocean Villas — villas with a kids’ club and a shallow pool

Truong Sa Street, Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang · 4.4★ (≈2,700 Google reviews) · from 2,742,279₫ a night · Open in Google Maps

Its own site describes a “kids club and playground” with “fun-filled games, toys and media for our younger guests”, and two outdoor pools with “separate swimming areas for the kids”. Villas rather than hotel rooms, which is what makes it work for two families travelling together or for anyone who wants a kitchen. The 4.4 rating is the lowest here — worth reading recent reviews before committing.

Naman Retreat — the design one, with a staffed Kid Club

Truong Sa Street, Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang · 4.7★ (≈5,200 Google reviews) · from 2,764,672₫ a night · Open in Google Maps

Naman is the bamboo-architecture resort people photograph, and it is a genuine family option rather than a couples-only one. Its Experience page describes a Kid Club that is “bright, colorful, with a vast of toys”, staffed, running swimming classes, kite-making and group games. At 4.7 with over five thousand reviews it is also the best-rated mid-priced resort on this list.

Grandvrio Ocean Resort Da Nang — the most specific about children

Lac Long Quan Street, Dien Ban Dong Ward, Da Nang · 4.6★ (≈2,300 Google reviews) · from 2,945,664₫ a night · Open in Google Maps

The only resort here that publishes the rules. Its kids’ activities page states the Kids Club “is eligible for children from 1 to 12 years old”, that “children under the age of 4 must be accompanied by a responsible adult”, and prices babysitting at 300,000₫ per hour for one child from age two. If you want to know what you are actually getting before you arrive, this is the one that tells you.

Note the address: it sits at the Dien Ban end of the beach, closer to Hoi An than to central Da Nang.

Furama Resort Danang — the all-rounder

105 Vo Nguyen Giap, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang · 4.5★ (6,432 Google reviews) · from 4,754,753₫ a night · Open in Google Maps

Vietnam’s first international beach resort, and still the safest choice if you want everything on site. Google’s amenity record lists a children’s club, children’s activities, babysitting, a wading pool for small children, a lifeguard and a games room — the fullest set of child facilities of any resort here. It also has the largest review base on this list by a distance, which makes that 4.5 rating the most reliable number on the page.

Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa — the water slide

5 Truong Sa Street, Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang · 4.5★ (≈5,700 Google reviews) · from 5,335,714₫ a night · Open in Google Maps

Five pools, and the amenity record lists a children’s club, children’s activities, babysitting, a wading pool, a water slide and — the detail parents actually care about — a separate adults-only pool. If your idea of a family holiday includes one hour a day where nobody is splashing you, this is the one.

Pullman Danang Beach Resort — closest to the city

101 Vo Nguyen Giap, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang · 4.7★ (≈4,400 Google reviews) · from 7,358,079₫ a night · Open in Google Maps

The highest-rated large resort on the list at 4.7, with a children’s club, children’s activities and babysitting on its amenity record. It is also the northernmost of the beach resorts, which means the shortest taxi to My Khe, the An Thuong restaurants and the Dragon Bridge — useful if you do not intend to stay inside the resort all week.

Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, Non Nuoc Beach — the top of the market

07 Truong Sa, Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang · 4.5★ (≈3,400 Google reviews) · from 11,408,717₫ a night · Open in Google Maps

Marriott’s own page describes a complimentary Kids Club “fitted out with games, arts and crafts tables, ball houses, and cultural activities”, plus a kids’ pool, an outdoor playground and a “Wonder Kids Activities” programme. Complimentary matters: several resorts charge per session or per hour.

One booking trap. There are three similarly named Marriott properties on this coast — this resort, a separate Non Nuoc Beach Villas, and Hoi An Marriott Resort & Spa. Check the address on the booking page before you pay.

Sheraton Grand Danang Beach Resort & Spa — the one with an actual water park

Non Nuoc Beach, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang · Open in Google Maps

This is the only resort on the list with a verified water park rather than a single slide. Marriott’s own page lists a Kid’s Mini Waterpark, describing it as “a newly launched mini water park with thrilling slides, tube rides, a brightly colored spray tunnel, and a water soaking bucket”, and lists a separate Kid’s Outdoor Pool alongside a 250-metre infinity pool the resort calls the longest in Da Nang. The kids’ club runs daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with what the resort describes as “entertaining and educational activities that celebrate the joy of childhood”.

What the resort does not publish. There is no stated age range for the kids’ club, and no clear statement that the club itself is free — the water slide and mini water park are the items listed as complimentary. Ask before you book if this matters to your budget.

InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort — the clearest rules for young children

Bai Bac, Son Tra Peninsula, Da Nang · Open in Google Maps

The Planet Trekkers Kids’ Club sits on the resort’s Sea level and opens daily from 9:00 to 18:00. It is one of the few in Da Nang that publishes its terms plainly: it is for children 12 and under, children under 4 must be accompanied by a guardian or nanny, and access is listed under the resort’s “Always Complimentary” benefits.

One booking trap. The resort’s Long Pool has a minimum age of 12, so with a toddler you are using the beachside Garden Pool instead. The official site does not describe a dedicated children’s pool, and lists no water slide — the kids’ club activities it names are sand castles and scavenger hunts. If a slide is what your children want, this is the wrong resort.

Premier Village Danang Resort — the largest children’s pool

99 Vo Nguyen Giap, Da Nang · Open in Google Maps

The resort publishes a 550-square-metre Nautica pool for lap swimming plus a separate “200-square-metre pool for young swimmers” — the largest dedicated children’s pool named by any resort on this page. Its Kid’s Club lists classes, movies, a library and indoor and outdoor playgrounds, and the resort says children are “cared for in a fun-filled, safe environment, run by expert staff”. Beachfront and Ocean Access villas add private pools.

What the resort does not publish. No kids’-club age range and no kids’-club pricing appear on the official site. A separate day-use pool pass is listed at 250,000₫ for adults, 125,000₫ for children 6–12 and free under 6, maximum two children — but that buys pool access, not the kids’ club. The resort now brands itself “Managed by Accor”; older listings saying “AccorHotels” are out of date.

The three premium resorts side by side

Resort Kids’ club Published age limit Free for guests? Dedicated kids’ pool Water slide
Sheraton Grand Danang Beach Yes, 9:00–18:00 Not published Not stated Yes Yes — mini water park
InterContinental Sun Peninsula Planet Trekkers, 9:00–18:00 12 and under Yes Not published No
Premier Village Danang Yes Not published Not stated Yes — 200 m² No

Every cell above comes from the resort’s own website or its brand page. Where a resort does not publish something, this table says so rather than guessing — an unpublished age limit is a question to ask at booking, not a reason to assume there is none.

What about Mikazuki and the water park?

Da Nang Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa, Xuan Thieu Tourism Area, Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Hai Van Ward, is the resort families ask about most, because of Mikazuki Water Park 365 — indoor and outdoor sections, a Ninja Kids’ Park, an indoor children’s pool and a Dragon Slide (minimum height 1.2m; children between 1.2m and 1.4m must be accompanied).

Two honest caveats. It has no kids’ club — the water park is the childcare. And despite what booking sites imply, the resort’s own website does not say water park entry is included for hotel guests; every official page routes to a separate ticket purchase. Ask the hotel directly before you book on that assumption.

Which stretch of beach should you book?

Vo Nguyen Giap (Furama, Pullman). The northern end, closest to My Khe, An Thuong and the city. Best if you plan to leave the resort daily.

Truong Sa (Hyatt, Marriott, Naman, The Ocean Villas). The Non Nuoc stretch, quieter and wider, next to the Marble Mountains. Best if the resort is the holiday.

Dien Ban Dong (Grandvrio). Furthest south, roughly halfway to Hoi An. Cheapest per star, longest taxi ride into Da Nang.

A note on Da Nang addresses in 2026

Vietnam’s 2025 administrative reorganisation abolished districts and absorbed part of Quang Nam into Da Nang, so many resorts now publish ward-based addresses that do not match older guides. Grandvrio still lists both its old Quang Nam address and its new Da Nang one on the same page. Every address above is the one the property itself publishes today — if a booking site shows you something different, that is why.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best family resort in Da Nang?

It depends on the age of your children. For a water park on site, Sheraton Grand Danang Beach Resort is the only one here that has one. For toddlers, Grandvrio Ocean Resort is the most explicit — its Kids Club takes children from age one. For an all-rounder with a wading pool, a lifeguard and a kids’ club, Furama Resort Danang is the safe choice. The comparison table above shows the price gap between them.

Which Da Nang resorts actually have a kids’ club?

Ten of the eleven here: The Ocean Villas, Naman Retreat, Grandvrio Ocean Resort, Furama, Hyatt Regency, Pullman, Danang Marriott, Sheraton Grand Danang Beach, InterContinental Sun Peninsula and Premier Village. Risemount Premier Resort does not, and neither does Mikazuki — its water park serves that role instead.

How much is a family resort in Da Nang per night?

From about 1,420,000₫ for a beach resort without childcare, 2,700,000₫–3,000,000₫ for a well-rated resort with a kids’ club, and 4,700,000₫ upward for the big international brands. Rates climb sharply over Tet, the April 30 holiday and the June–August domestic season.

Is a kids’ club free at Da Nang resorts?

It varies, and most resorts do not publish the answer. Danang Marriott states its Kids Club is complimentary. Grandvrio prices babysitting separately at 300,000₫ per hour. Assume nothing and ask when you book.

Which resort is best for toddlers?

Grandvrio takes children from age one in its Kids Club and offers babysitting from age two, which is the most explicit toddler provision published by any resort here. Furama’s amenity record lists a wading pool and a lifeguard, which is the other thing that matters at that age.

Are the beach resorts far from Da Nang city?

Not really. The Vo Nguyen Giap resorts are a 10–15 minute drive from the Dragon Bridge; the Truong Sa ones 15–25 minutes; Grandvrio closer to 35. All are under 30 minutes from Da Nang International Airport except Grandvrio.

How we checked this list

Ratings, review counts and nightly rates were read off Google on 28 August 2026, for a one-night stay on 8–9 September 2026 for two guests; review counts over a thousand are shown rounded to the nearest hundred, and Furama’s exact count is given because Google published it. Kids’-club claims come from each resort’s own website — quoted above — or from Google’s published amenity record for that property. Where neither source states a facility, this guide says it is unverified rather than assuming. Rates and facilities change; if you find something here that has closed or moved, tell us and we will correct it.
