How the day works
Your driver meets you in the hotel lobby, usually around 7:00. The drive runs north from Hoi An towards Da Nang and then west into the hills to the Ba Na Hills cable car station, about an hour in normal traffic. The driver parks at the station and waits while you go up the mountain.
Most visitors spend 5–6 hours on top: the Golden Bridge, the French Village, the gardens and the Fantasy Park. When you are ready, message the driver on WhatsApp and walk back to the car park. You are back at your Hoi An hotel about an hour later, in time for an evening in the Ancient Town.
Ba Na Hills tickets in 2026
At the time of writing (October 2026), the Sun World Ba Na Hills ticket is about 1,000,000 VND for adults and 800,000 VND for children 100–140 cm tall and seniors over 70. It covers the return cable car, the Golden Bridge and the Fantasy Park rides; the lunch buffet is extra. Prices change, so check Sun World's official site before you go. Your car price does not include tickets.
Before you pay, check the travel date and visitor category, child height bands, which cable car routes and meals are included, and the refund terms for bad weather.
Tips for a smoother day
Go early. The first hour after opening is the quietest time on the Golden Bridge.
Bring a light jacket. The top is several degrees cooler than Hoi An and often in cloud from September to December.
Check the forecast that morning. If heavy cloud is forecast, message us; you can move the trip to another day at no charge.
Keep the driver's number offline. Mobile signal at the cable car station is usually fine, but a saved number avoids any search for the car.

One price per car, not per person. The 5-seat car takes up to 3 guests with luggage; the 7-seat car up to 5 guests.
Hotel pick-up and drop-off, fuel, tolls and parking for the car.
Child seats on request at no extra cost.
No deposit: pay the driver at the end of the ride, in cash (VND or USD) or by bank transfer.
Not included: entrance tickets, meals, and extra stops on the way (+$4 for a stop under 30 minutes, +$6 for a longer one). Pick-ups between 10 pm and 5 am add $3.
