Why go by private car
Nui Than Tai is inland, in the hills west of the city, and it is not on the coastal road between Da Nang and Hoi An. Taxis and ride-hailing cars are easy to find on the way out but much harder at closing time, when everyone leaves together. With a round trip your driver waits in the car park, so you can stay in the pools as long as you like and leave when you are ready.

Da Nang's tourism portal published a 2026 reference price of 490,000 VND per person for the standard package and 755,000 VND for the Tich Loc package with lunch. The standard offer includes several bathing areas, the water park and selected entertainment. Child pricing is by height: under 1 metre free, 1 metre to under 1.4 metres half price, and 1.4 metres or taller full price. How to plan the day
Leave early: aim to arrive soon after opening (commonly listed as 8:30) to enjoy the pools before the midday crowds.
Allow 4–6 hours if you want both the hot springs and the water park, plus time for lunch and to change.
Pack swimwear, a change of clothes, sun protection and a waterproof pouch. Check whether towels and lockers are included in your package.
Agree the pick-up time with your driver and keep the number saved offline.
